Summer School, 2008:





Thank you for your interest in the 2008 Summer School program at St. Matthias High School. Please review this Summer School Catalog for information on course offerings, schedules, student regulations, and registration information.

SMHS students, please be advised that if St. Matthias is offering a class during Summer School you are required to take the course at St. Matthias High School. You may not take the same course at any other institution including community colleges and adult schools. If you have questions regarding this policy, please make sure to discuss this with the academic counselor or with me prior to making Summer School plans.

While SMHS Summer School is specifically designed to meet the needs of SMHS students, we welcome students in good standing from other high schools. Just a note regarding Summer School registration: enrollment for classes is determined on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Some classes are in high demand and they fill up quickly. When this happens, we create a waiting list and, as openings occur, we admit students in the order their registration was received. Additionally, Summer School classes may be cancelled if there is insufficient enrollment. The due date for Summer School registration is May 23, however, we strongly recommend that you register as soon as possible so that you have the best chance for enrollment and so that we can know our staffing needs with ample time to inform teachers of their teaching assignments.
